The rules for using Until, in plain English. By using the website, the API or the MCP server you agree to them. Last updated 2026-10-15.

What Until is

Until is a watch service run by Andreoni-Group, LLC. You give it a public web page and a deterministic condition. It checks the page on a schedule and, when the condition becomes true, records a signed receipt and can send a signed webhook. It also offers a done-for-you public-notice monitoring service, described below.

Using it responsibly

• Watch public pages only. No logins, no private or internal addresses, and nothing you are not allowed to access.
• Do not use Until to overload a site, to get around a site's rules, or to break the law. Until respects robots.txt and refuses pages that block automated visitors. We may refuse a request or suspend a credit key that abuses the service.
• Webhook endpoints must be yours, and able to receive our messages.
• Do not try to avoid rate limits or other limits.

Prepaid credit

• You buy a prepaid pack and receive a credit key. A watch costs one watch of credit: $0.50 at list price, less per watch in the larger packs. Credits do not expire.
• Credit is charged when a watch is created, whether or not its condition becomes true before it ends. A watch lasts at most 7 days. If you opt in to re-arm, each successor watch costs one more credit, within the caps you set.
• You are not charged when a page is refused at creation (bot-blocked, JavaScript-only, disallowed by robots.txt, unreachable), when a condition cannot be evaluated, or when it is already true. Dry-run checks are free.
• If a watch you created never manages a single successful fetch and fails, its credit is returned automatically, and the watch shows refunded: true. A watch that expires without a match is not refunded.
• Credit has no cash value and cannot be transferred out. The credit key is your only credential. We store only a hash of it and cannot recover it.

Payments and refunds

Card payments are processed by Stripe. Until we announce that real-money checkout is open, checkout runs in Stripe test mode and does not charge real cards. We do not promise refunds of card payments. If you were charged in error, or a purchase did not add its credits, contact our support email (coming soon) with your checkout id and we will review it. If Stripe refunds or reverses a payment, we remove the matching credits.

What we do not promise

• Checks are periodic, not real time. We do not guarantee that every change is caught, caught quickly, or that the service is always available.
• A page can change layout, move or start blocking us without notice. A receipt records what Until observed at a time. It is not legal advice or a legal record.
• Until is provided as is, without warranties. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for missed or late alerts, lost opportunities or indirect losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it.

Public-notice monitoring

This is a done-for-you service arranged by request through the form at /public-notices. Starter ($150, up to 5 pages) and Crew ($250, up to 12 pages) run for 60 days, prepaid, with no automatic renewal. The website takes no payment for it. We agree billing and how alerts reach you with you before you pay.

• Alerts are delivered by webhook today. Email alerts are coming soon and are not live.
• Some pages cannot be watched. We tell you which ones before you pay.
• An alert links to the agency's official page. We are not an official source: always check the agency's notice. We do not submit bids or supply plan documents, and we cannot promise a bid will be posted or that you will win work.
